Concept Development

Before layouts or equipment lists, we start with questions. What does your operation look like today, and where is it falling short? What does success look like in three years? Where are the constraints — dock positions, column grids, ceiling heights, budget, schedule?

The answers shape a concept that’s grounded in your reality, not adapted from a template. We evaluate multiple approaches, walk through the tradeoffs with your team, and align on a direction before moving into detailed design.

System Design

With a validated concept in hand, our engineering team develops the full system design — material flow routing, equipment selection, structural integration, and detailed layout — optimized for your throughput targets, product mix, and operational workflow.
Every design decision is traceable back to a performance requirement. Zone lengths, accumulation capacity, transfer spacing, drive sizing — nothing is arbitrary. The result is a design your team can build to, maintain, and expand with confidence.

Controls & Integration

A material handling system operates within a larger technology ecosystem — WMS, MES, ERP, robotics controllers, vision systems, safety PLCs. Getting the conveyance right is only part of the job. Getting it to communicate reliably with everything around it is what determines whether the system actually performs in production.

Bleichert’s controls engineers handle PLC programming, HMI development, system-level integration, and end-to-end commissioning testing. We work directly with your IT and OT teams to ensure interfaces are properly specified, tested, and documented before go-live.

Project Management

Simulation & Analysis

Before we finalize a design, we model it — running the system through your actual demand profiles, including peak conditions, shift transitions, and exception scenarios — to validate throughput, identify bottlenecks, and stress-test the logic before a single component is ordered.
