Carousel storage, Vertical carousel storage & high-bay warehouse

Automated Storage Systems: ASRS & High-Bay Solutions

Pallet Handling & Warehouse Optimization for Industrial Operations

Loading of workpieces by industrial robot on 7th axis

  • Flexible storage capacity by extending the 7th axis
  • Industrial robot is manufacturer-independent
  • Can be extended with additional storage units

Loading of workpieces with rack and pinion lifter

  • Greater capacity by extending the storage height
    by loading via lifting unit.

Vertical ASRS

Use of ASRS technology

The goods/packages are placed on the carrier of the round storage unit by a conveyor system. This is lifted to one of the levels by means of a lifting axis, rotated through the defined angle by a rotary drive and set down in a designated free storage location; when the package/workpiece is removed, the process is reversed.

  • FIFO principle
  • Eifficient use of space due to individual storage height
  • Integration into fully automatic interlinking lines possible
  • Different warehouse management systems can be implemented
  • Suitable as a decoupling module between work steps

High-bay warehouse

Efficient space utilization

  • Complete logistics solutions possible as a general contractor
  • High storage capacity thanks to optimum space utilisation
  • Customised to customer requirements
  • Different warehouse management systems can be implemented

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of automated storage systems does Bleichert offer?2026-07-27T20:00:00+02:00

Bleichert offers a full range of automated storage systems, including ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), high-bay warehouse systems, vertical storage systems, carousel storage systems, and shuttle-based solutions. Each system is designed for efficient space utilization and high-speed retrieval.

What is the difference between ASRS and high-bay storage?2026-07-27T20:00:37+02:00

An ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) is a broad category that includes any automated system for storing and retrieving goods — including shuttles, carousels, and vertical lifts. High-bay storage specifically refers to tall racking systems (typically 10m+) served by stacker cranes or automated retrieval machines, optimized for maximizing vertical storage density in large warehouses.

Can Bleichert storage systems be integrated with conveyor lines?2026-07-27T20:01:08+02:00

Yes. Bleichert storage systems are designed to integrate directly with conveyor lines, enabling seamless automated flow from production or receiving into storage and back out to shipping or assembly. Interface points and transfer systems are engineered as part of the complete solution.
