Underhung Style – Part hangs from

underside of pallet.

Steel pallets travel on wheels riding in a steel track.  Each pallet has sprockets coupled to friction clutch units on underside of pallet.  Pallets are also center-guided.  Very accurate for robotic applications.

Pallets are released via pneumatic stops.

Pallets travel around ends of conveyor and return on underside.

The most precision “Over / Under” style conveyor on the market.

Accumulating Pallet Conveyors are used for both part transport and part buffering between process operations.  They are fully accumulating and can be serviced by robots at the load and unload stations. 

OTHER VARIATIONS:

 

Dual or Triple Lane Conveyors – share a common drive, but each lane is controlled separately. (Often used for variable model feed).
